Shipping
We're based in Chicago, IL, and currently ship across the US.
We're still fueling up our rockets for intergalactic, international deliveries, but we're working on expanding our reach beyond the stars. If you're located outside the US and want to place an order, please reach out via email at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com before ordering, we'll do our best to make it happen!
Orders are shipped from our little corner of the galaxy in Chicago, IL.
Our current fulfillment time is 2-7 business days. Once your order launches, you'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking info so you can follow its journey through the stars.
After your order ships, delivery typically takes 1-2 weeks within the U.S., and up to 3 months for international destinations, depending on how far across the cosmos it's traveling.
Please note, once your order has blasted off, it's in the hands of the postal service, and we no longer have control over its path through the void.
First, check your tracking number to see where your package is in its cosmic journey, sometimes tracking updates can be delayed or a little out of sync with reality.
Next, try contacting your local post office, they often have more detailed info about your delivery. If you're still lost in the void, feel free to email us at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com, and we'll do our best to help investigate from mission control.
International Customers:
If you're outside the U.S., your package may be held at customs. Check for any import fees or VAT charges that need to be paid to release your order. Buyers are responsible for all customs and import taxes.
Please note:
Space Opera Studio isn't responsible for customs delays or for packages rejected due to unpaid fees.
If your order is returned to us because fees weren't paid, we'll refund your order minus the original shipping cost.
We know delivery mishaps can be frustrating, thanks for your patience as your package makes its way across time and space.
Send us a transmission ASAP at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com with your order number in the subject line, we'll do our best to reroute your package before it launches!
If your order has already shipped, it may be beyond our reach. In that case, we may not be able to update the address mid-flight, and you might be responsible for any carrier fees involved in redirecting it.
Thanks for understanding, we'll help however we can to get your order back on the right course!
Shopping
Totally! If your first order hasn't shipped yet, just place a second order and send us an email at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com with both order numbers.
We'll do our best to combine them into one shipment and refund any extra shipping costs if applicable.
If your original order has already launched, aka, you've received your shipping confirmation, it's too late to add more items to that mission, you'll need to place a separate order.
The shop stays open while we're off on event adventures, but please expect some shipping delays during these times!
The length of the delay depends on how far we've traveled and how long we're away from base camp.
For the most up-to-date info, check the Upcoming Events button at the top right of the site. You'll also see a banner across the top of the site when an event is approaching or in progress, letting you know when to expect your order if you place one during that time.

Changed your mind? Send us a message at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number, and we'll try to cancel and refund it before it ships out on its mission.
If your order has already been prepped and launched, aka shipped, it's too late to cancel or refund, we're no longer able to intercept it once it's en route through the stars.
Once your cancellation is confirmed, your refund will be processed right away, though it may take 3-10 days for your bank to return the funds to your account.

To help your cosmic treasures last lightyears, here are some tips for caring for your Space Opera Studio goods:
๐ Stickers โ Our stickers are waterproof, so feel free to use them on water bottles, laptops, or notebooks! For the longest lifespan, avoid heavy abrasion and dishwashers, hand washing is still the best way to keep them looking stellar.
๐ช Tufted Rugs/Wall Hangings โ Tufted pieces are for decorative use only unless stated otherwise. Hang them using nails, screws, or heavy-duty Velcro strips. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Spot clean gently with a damp cloth, no machine washing or soaking, or they might unravel their magic.
๐ผ๏ธ Prints โ Handle prints with clean, dry hands. Frame them behind glass or acrylic to protect from dust, UV light, and damage. Avoid humid or sunny environments to keep the colors crisp and vivid.
๐งถ Crochet Items โ Spot clean or gently hand wash with cool water and mild soap. Lay flat to dry to keep their shape. Avoid wringing or tossing them in the dryer, these handmade buddies like a little gentleness.
๐ชก Sewn Accessories โ Spot clean or hand wash when needed. If machine washing is necessary, use a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle with cold water. Always air dry to preserve stitching and structure.
Important: If your item has fringe, keep the fringe dry, getting it wet may cause fraying or damage.

Refunds/Exchanges
We DO NOT accept refunds or exchanges.
Many of our items are handmade, made-to-order, or produced in very limited runs, so please double-check your cart before blasting off!
Repeated requests that go against this policy may result in cancellation of future orders.
If you have any concerns before or after ordering, don't hesitate to reach out.

Please email us at spaceoperastudio@gmail.com with your order number in the subject line and let us know what's missing. We'll do our best to make it right.
Be sure to contact us within 20 days of receiving your parcel, after that, we can't guarantee replacements.
We pack every order with care and cosmic cushioning, but once it launches into the postal system, it's out of ou r hands, and sometimes rough landings happen.
If your item arrives damaged, please email spaceoperastudio@gmail.com with your order number in the subject line and clear photos of the damage. We'll assess the situation and do our best to send a replacement.
Please contact us within 20 days of receiving your package, we can't guarantee replacements after that window.
